Ollie Pope the England vice-captain scored a century in the second test against West Indies along with Joe Root and Harry Brook. Ollie Pope was given the man of the match award. England destroyed West Indies in the second test where they won that match by 234 runs, Pope led the first inning with 121 runs helping England score 416 on day one, in the second inning he scored a half-century, Harry Brook and Joe Root both scored Century as well and England scored 425 in their second inning.
England scored the fastest team Test 50, breaking their own record from 1994, Pope powered the milestone in 26 balls. When was the Pope asked if they were told to play like that? He said no it’s just their natural game.
