Global Sports, India’s leading sports management firm and pioneers in the sport of pickleball, is thrilled to announce the Indian Open 2025. Asia’s largest pickleball event is set to be a spectacle like no other, taking place from February 3–9, 2025, at NESCO Goregaon, Mumbai.
Global Sports’ Vision for Pickleball’s Growth
Under the visionary leadership of founder Hemal Jain and co-founders Niraj Jain, Divyesh Jain, and Suresh Bhansali, Global Sports has championed the rapid growth of pickleball across India. The organization’s mission is further strengthened by Bollywood writer-director Shashank Khaitan joining as a partner, alongside entrepreneur Yuvi Ruia. Adding star power to this dynamic team, celebrated filmmaker and pop culture icon Karan Johar serves as the brand ambassador.
Prize Money and Competition
With an impressive prize pool of $125,000, over 1,200 players from around the world will compete in multiple categories, making this the most prestigious pickleball tournament in Asia. The event will also mark the debut of the Globalsports Pickleball Pro & Challenger League, featuring ten city-based teams:
