RR will be taking on PBKS this Saturday at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh international stadium, Mullanpur. This year PBKS has changed from Mohali to Mullanpur. We have seen high scoring matches at this venue and these two teams have many power-hitters in their teams. Currently RR is on top and PBKS is 8th in the points table, both teams will be looking forward to earning those two points.

In PBKS two new power-hitters have emerged this season, Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma; this duo pulled off an unbelievable win against GT this season chasing 200 runs, and almost chased down 182 against SRH, both the batters having 200+ strike rate this season. Beside them Jitesh Sharma is also known as a power hitter,  he has not been in his prime is season but last season he had played some quick cameos down the order for Punjab. Liam Livingstone is missing out due to injury, he has the most number of sixes for Punjab in the last 3 years.

RR have plenty of hitters, Yashasvi Jaiswal in season has not played such innings where we can call him hitter but in previous edition his strike was over 180 as an opener, Sanju Samson is 2nd highest run scorer for RR his season till now, he has also played with a strike rate of over 180 this season. Riyan Parag has also improved both his scores and strike rate this season, he had a very impressive domestic season as-well this season, he is currently 2nd on the orange cap list, finally Shimron Hetmyer he has been striking 170+ this season most in all editions he has played so far.

Overall RR hitters have performed well in terms of runs but PBKS hitters have a better strike-rate, both the teams have quality power-hitters in their side.
