The Indian cricket team will shift focus from test cricket to three-match T20I series against Bangladesh. This will be the first home T20I series under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, following the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli from the format. While the squad for the series has yet to be announced, it presents a golden opportunity for India to test new talent. Here are two uncapped players who could get a chance in the IND vs BAN squad.

Yash Dayal

Yash Dayal is part of the Indian Test squad but still waiting for his debut in Team India. He could also get a chance in the upcoming T20I series. Dayal has taken 53 wickets in 56 matches at an average of 29.45. He is a left arm fast bowler which adds another dimension to his bowling because Indian team also have the scarcity of left arm fast bowler which can help him for the selection in Indian T20 squad for the upcoming series against Bangladesh. He has bowled that last over in RCB and CSK Match in which he defended 16 runs in the last over when players like MS dhoni and Jadeja were on the crease. He can be a good backup for Arshdeep if Arshdeep gets rest in the upcoming T20I series. Dayal is also part of the Irani Cup squad, however if he gets selected for the IND vs BAN T20I series then he will be released from the Irani Cup squad .

Harshit Rana

Harshit Rana has been waiting for his maiden cap for India for a long time. He has been in great form since the Indian Premier League 2024, where he took 19 wickets at an average of 20.16. There are a lot of chances that he can be included in the upcoming T20 series against Bangladesh because main fast bowlers will get rest in this series. The main strength of Harshit is that he is too quick in the air as well as when he pitches the ball which makes him difficult to bat in bouncy or sticky wickets where his pace becomes very lethal. He has also been trained in MRF Academy which was established by BCCI through which a lot of fast bowlers has been produced for India from the past 10 to 15 years. He is  also the member of IPL 2024 winning franchise KKR and he also plays the crucial role to win IPL for KKR.
