Karnataka’s young wicketkeeper-batter Luvnith Sisodia is set to embark on an exciting journey with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the upcoming TATA IPL 2025. Expressing his excitement on Knight Live Adda, Sisodia spoke about the warm welcome he received from the franchise, calling it a “lovely family.”
“It just feels like I’m already part of a lovely, lovely family here,” said Sisodia, who is currently participating in KKR’s pre-season camp in Mumbai.
Bonding with Manish Pandey & Learning from Legends
The presence of his Karnataka teammate Manish Pandey has made the transition smoother for the young cricketer. Calling Pandey a mentor, Sisodia credited him for his guidance and revealed their strong bond extends beyond the field, with video games being a common pastime.
“No words can describe the impact Manish bhai has had on my career. He has always guided me, and we often unwind in the evenings playing games together.”
The young gloveman is also eager to learn from Quinton de Kock, one of the best wicketkeeper-batters in the world. Sisodia sees similarities in their aggressive batting styles and believes the experience will be a massive learning curve.
“We have similar styles of playing… watching him bat with such aggression is something I can relate to. It’s going to be a great learning experience for me.”

With KKR gearing up for their season opener, Sisodia remains level-headed, treating each match as equally important.
“At the end of the day, it’s just a game of cricket, and every match is crucial, no matter the opponent.”
When asked about what fans can expect, the youngster promised to entertain without making any big claims:
“Fans will have a great time watching me express myself on the field.”
