KKR takes on DC in match 16 of IPL 2024 on Wednesday. KKR have won the first two games and are now the only two undefeated teams this season alongside RR on the other hand DC have won 1 match out of 3.

KKR has a strong pace bowling line-up, in the lights of Mitchell Starc, Harshit Rana and Andre Russel .The only problem for KKR so far has been Mitchell Starc’s lack of form. The Aussie pacer has gone wicket-less in the first two games, He went for 100 runs in his 8 overs in the first two games. Except for Starc, Russel and Harshit have bowled really well. This duo has picked-up 9 wickets in 2 matches with an economy of under 8.5. Chetan Sakariya and Dushmantha Chameera are yet to play in this season.

DC also have a strong pace bowling line-up, presence of experienced Ishant Sharma in the power-play followed by Khalil Ahmed and Anrich Nortje. Khalil and Nortje are very useful in power-play and death overs, DC bowling has been very economical this season except for Nortje in the back end, a new experiment by Pant bowling Mukesh Kumar in the end has also been a success till now he has picked 3 wickets bowling at the end with an economy of under 8. Ishant missed out the 2nd match due to injury but he has picked up 2 wickets in his 2 matches with an economy of under 8. Khalil has been very impressive this season both with the new and old bowl he has picked up 6 wickets in 3 matches with an economy of 7.5. Nortje has been very expensive in the back end giving runs at an economy of more than 10. Jhye Richardson is yet to play in this season.

Overall DC`s fast bowling is looking  more impact-full because of Ishant Sharma bowling economically in the power-play which gives DC an  opportunity to hold on the runs after field restrictions and other bowlers also performed well till now.
