DC will be taking on LSG this Friday at Ekana stadium, Lucknow. We have historically seen teams batting first have won the most number of matches here. This pitch has always been on the slower side. LSG is currently on a winning note and is 3rd on the points table and DC is last on the points table.

Home team LSG is certainly missing the serve of Mayank Yadav, he is out due to injury, besides him LSG have Mohsin Khan, Yash Thakur, and Naveen-Ul-Haq. In absences of Mayank, Yash led from the front and picked up a fifer in the previous encounter against GT. Mohsin Khan has not been in his prime this season, he has picked up 2 wickets but his economy is very high this season 9.88. Naveen-Ul-Haq has been bowling decently this season he has taken 5 wickets but his economy is also 9+.

DC on the other hand has many fast bowling options, Khalil Ahmed who is 3rd on the purple cap race has bowled very impressive spells this season, he has 7 wickets with a decent economy of 8.50. Ishant Sharma has not bowled as per his standards this season he has been very expensive this season with 11+ economy, as for Anrich Nortje he is quick but his deliveries are reaching boundurings even quicker he has taken 6 wickets but his economy is worse over 13 this season. We have seen a different role for Mukesh Kumar this season. He used to bowl in the power-play but he has bowled mostly after 10 overs. This season he has taken 4 wickets in 2 matches but his economy is also 10+.

Overall LSG fast bowling looks better as DC bowlers have picked-up wickets but their economy rate has been the reason for DC being at bottom in the points table this season.
