DC will take on LSG this Friday at the Ekana stadium, Lucknow. Ekana has large boundaries and is historically seen to be a slow track which helps spinners and fast bowlers who can bowl cutters. DC has not had the best season till now and will look to bounce back in this match.

LSG has quality spinners in the lights of Ravi Bishnoi, M. Siddharth, and Krunal Pandya. Krunal Pandya has not picked up many wickets this season he has only 3 but his economy is brilliant 5.50 this season best among all the spinners. Ravi Bishnoi has not been in his prime this season till now he has only picked up 2 wickets so far with a slightly high economy of 8.87 . M.Siddharth is fresh face this season he picked up Virat Kohli’s wickets in his debut match which is his only wicket this season. The veteran leg spinner Amit Mishra is also in the LSG squad but hasn’t played this season.

DC on the other hand is missing their bowling backbone Kuldeep Yadav who is currently unavailable due to injury. Beside him DC has only Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav as a spinner, Axar has been an economical bowler over the years , he has picked up 4 wickets till now with an economy of 7.74, Pant uses him in the power-play and in middle overs. Lalit Yadav is a part-time bowler who can bowl 1-2 overs for DC, they cannot be much dependent on him.

Overall the absence of Kuldeep Yadav has made DC spin bowling very weak which makes LSG spin attack better.
