In sixteen seasons of the IPL, the Capitals, formerly known as the Delhi Daredevils (DD) have only reached the knockout stages four times. For the upcoming 2024 Indian Premier League season, the Delhi Capitals have a formidable line-up. The 2020 IPL runners-up, DC were beaten by the MI in the only IPL final they have played so far.
