As Gautam Gambhir became the head coach of India, he has started to work for the team with immediate effect. As he is against the rest policy he wants big names to be available for the national team. Gautam Gambhir has asked Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah to be available for the ODI series against Srilanka. These three stars have featured in T20 world cup earlier they were to be rested in Srilanka series but Gambhir thoughts are way different.
As per Gambhir wants these stars to end their vacation and be available for ODI series against Srilanka which is scheduled to be played from 27th July as after this series they will already have one month break before Bangladesh series at home from 19th September.
After the Bangladesh Series India have to play one of the most important test series with Australia at home. As Gautam Gambhir wants them to be in good form before that series.
While Hardik Pandya have reported himself unavailable for the ODI series against Srilanka while Rohit and kohli are enjoying vacation.
Rohit, Kohli and Bumrah are still yet to answer the Gambhir`s statement previously, he reported that he wants all the player to play in all the formats he don’t want specialist in the team.
