The Indian team will be facing Bangladesh in the second T-20, which will be hosted by Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The hosting team has already won the first match by seven wickets with 49 balls to spare. The first match showed the debut of two new youngsters, Mayank Yadav and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
The Indian team, will be eying on sealing the series in the second T20I of the series. The boundaries of the Arun Jaitley stadium are very short, having a length of 65 meters from sides and 68 meters from straight which assists batters to score runs easily, but along with passage of overs, if the pitch tears up, it might assist the spinners to give them an additional turn. Both teams have played 15 international matches against each other. 14 have been won by India.
After clinching a one sided victory in the first T20I match, the Indian team is unlikely to make any change in their playing 11 as the combination is looking balanced having an equal contribution of all the players.
Whereas on the other side, the Nazmul Hossain Shanto led Bangladesh team might need to re-strategize their plans and prepare well for their second outing of the series. Taskin Ahmad, who got hit for 44 runs in 17 balls, might not make it to the playing 11 of the second match.
In the first T20I against Bangladesh, the debutant Mayank Yadav took the limelight of the show as he bowled the first over of his international career as maiden and also his maiden international wicket in the match. Hardik Pandya’s no-look shot, which was a pleasure to watch, is also earning a lot of appreciation from the Indian fans on the Internet. Varun Chakravarthy, who clinched three wickets in the first T20I will also be a player to watch out in the second T20I if the pitch might favour spinners.
