Most balls faced by a batsman in an IPL innings

Everybody talks about highest runs in an innings, highest wickets in
an innings, most sixes in an innings. IPL is the most successful
league across the global. As the 2024 edition is arriving  we will
take a look at most balls faced by a batsman in an IPL innings top
five.

1.   Brendon McCullum

The current England head coach , founder of Bazball , New Zealand
batting  sensation holds the record for the most numbers of balls
faced by a batsman in an innings . McCullum has played for several
teams in IPL but this record came in the first match of IPL back in
2008 . The very match of newly introduced premier league McCcllum
smashed a brilliant century for KKR. McCllum scored 158  runs and
faced 73 balls .

2.   Manish Pandey

Indian star Manish Pandey has played for several IPL teams. He is the
first ever Indian batsman to score an IPL century. Playing for RCB
Pandey scored a century in 2009. He scored 114 runs and faced 73
balls.

3.   KL Rahul

Indian star backbone of Indian and LSG batting lineup , KL Rahul has a
brilliant track record in IPL . Current LSG captain KL playing for his
previous team Kings 11 Punjab in 2018 scored 95 runs and faced 70
balls against RR.

4.   Quinton De Cock

The opening batsman from South Africa Quinton De Cock has had a
brilliant impact in IPL . He is always featured in the top 5 scores in
IPL . De Cock playing for LSG back in 2022 smashed a brilliant century
against KKR . He scored a brilliant 140 runs and faced 70 balls .

5.   Shaun Marsh

Classic lefty from Australia Shaun Marsh has a reputation for hitting
big sixes. Marsh back in the first edition in 2008 scored a century
against RR . He scored 115 runs and faced 69 balls .
