The clash between RCB and MI has been one of the most exciting fixtures in every IPL season by far. Although Mumbai has overwhelmingly dominated the Royal Challengers, the encounters between them have been the most entertaining ones.

MI have won the IPL five times, the joint-most by any team in the tournament’s history while RCB has failed to win a single trophy, despite qualifying for the finals on three occasions (2009, 2011, and 2016).

The two teams have faced each other 34 times, with MI dominating the contest winning 20 and losing 14 against RCB. On their first ever IPL encounter on 20th April 2008, RCB defeated MI by 5 wickets while Mumbai won by 6 wickets in their latest clash on 9th May 2023, thanks to Surya Kumar Yadav and Nehal Wadhera’s match-winning contributions.

Highest runs in this rivalry, Virat Kohli  852,  Rohit Sharma 567, Most wickets Jasprit Bumrah 22, Mohammed Siraj 11. RCB Vs MI Highest Total (RCB 213) & (MI 235), Lowest Total (RCB 111) & (MI 122) Highest Successful Chase 200(MI) 172(RCB), Lowest Total Defended 157(MI) (RCB) 156.
