IPL 2022 champions GT enjoyed a lot of success against inaugural
winners, RR, in their debut season in IPL 2022. The Hardik Pandya-led
unit met the Royals thrice in IPL 2022- including the final- and it
managed to come out on top on each of the three occasions and twice in
IPL 2022, with the Titans winning one and losing one.
In their first encounter, the GT overcame the Sanju Samson-led RR by
37 runs thanks to a blistering 52-ball 87 by skipper Hardik and
three-wicket-hauls from the pace duo of Yash Dayal (3/40) and Lockie
Ferguson (3/23). In their latest encounter, the Titans won by a
comfortable margin of 9 wickets against the Royals, with Rashid Khan
being adjudged the player of the match for his figures of 3/14 in 4
overs.

158.12, Mohit Sharma has taken the most IPL wickets in the last five
overs since the 2023 season (25).
