IPL 2025: Karnataka’s rising wicketkeeper-batter Luvnith Sisodia is set to embark on an exciting new journey with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the TATA IPL 2025. Speaking exclusively on Knight Live Adda, Sisodia expressed his enthusiasm about joining KKR, calling it a “lovely family” and preparing himself for the challenges of the 18th edition of the tournament.

“It just feels like I’m already part of a lovely, lovely family here,” said Sisodia, who is currently attending the team’s pre-season camp in Mumbai.

Learning from Legends: Manish Pandey & Quinton de Kock

Sisodia’s transition into the KKR squad has been made easier by the presence of his Karnataka teammate Manish Pandey. The young batter considers Pandey a mentor and someone who has had a significant influence on his career.

“No words can describe the impact he’s had on my career with his guidance,” said Sisodia. The two often bond over video games, further strengthening their camaraderie.

Sisodia is particularly thrilled about the opportunity to share the dressing room with wicketkeeping legend Quinton de Kock. Drawing similarities between their batting styles, he believes this experience will be invaluable for his growth as a player.

“It’s going to be a great learning experience for me. We have similar styles of playing… seeing him bat with his aggressive approach is inspiring,” he remarked.

Focused on the Season Ahead

With KKR preparing for their season opener, Sisodia remains level-headed about the challenges ahead. He acknowledges the importance of each game and is eager to contribute to the team’s success.

“At the end of the day, it’s just a game of cricket, and every match we play is important, regardless of the opponent.”

When asked about what fans can expect from him, Sisodia promised an exciting performance.

“They will have a great time when I try and express myself on the field.”

Passionate KKR Fanbase & Dream Debut

Sisodia is in awe of the passionate KKR fanbase, describing them as “electric, loyal, and very supportive.” He is eager to don the purple and gold jersey and believes the team colors suit him well.

With the guidance of seasoned campaigners, a supportive team environment, and the backing of dedicated KKR fans, Luvnith Sisodia is ready to make a mark in IPL 2025.
