RCB will take on RR this Saturday at Sawai Mansingh stadium, Jaipur. RR along with KKR are so far undefeated this season whereas RCB have won only 1 match out of their matches, RR is 2nd on the points table where-as RCB is 8th. Both teams will be looking to win this game specially RCB to climb-up in the points table. We have seen historically that teams chasing at the SMS stadium have won 65% matches till now.
RCB from the past has always kept batting their strength; they have a power-pack hitters in the lights of Glenn Maxwell, Anuj Rawat and the veteran Dinesh Karthik. Maxwell is a pure hitter how-ever in this season he hasn’t performed yet but last year his strike rate was nearly 185, Dinesh Karthik on the other hand has been giving finishingtouches he is also striking this year at nearly 180. On the other hand Anuj Rawat hasn’t been at his best till now in the IPL but he has also smashed bowls around the ground in the domestic circle.
RR also has plenty of hitters right from the starting both Jos Butler and Yashasvi Jaiswal are pinch hitters and both the players make the ball travel around the ground when in touch, then comes Riyan Parag who had an amazing domestic season this year, he is currently 2nd on the orange cap list he is striking the bowl at a strike rate of 165 this season, and then comes the RR finisher Shimron Hetmyer he gives finishing touches he has been striking the bowl at a strike rate of over 155 for the past 3 years. Sanju Samson is also very capable of hitting and he has done it in the past he also has a career strike rate of over 140.
Overall when we see the RR batting order and their recent striking they have better hitters compared to RCB.
