Indian players opens up on the White wash against Bangladesh

After winning the match against Bangladesh, the skipper, Rohit Sharma, opened up on the series.

 

 

Captain Rohit Sharma was very happy with the series win and also gave credit to coach Gautam Gambhir. Rohit Sharma said that it will be easy to judge, but he is very happy with the new environment. Rohit also added that he wanted to bowl out the opponents as soon as possible, in terms of overs, even if they get hit for some runs, as they were confident enough that they could chase the target swiftly.

Whereas the star all-rounder and man of the series, Ravichandran Ashwin, also spoke up in the post-match interview . Ravichandran Ashwin was very happy by his contribution for the team, Ashwin said that the win has played a huge role in affecting the WTC rankings and making their way to the WTC finals. Ashwin also mentioned the carrom ball and clarifies that he does not use much of the carrom ball in red ball cricket as compared to white ball cricket.

India Star past Jaspreet Bumrah also mentions the win as a really great performance because it seemed difficult to get the result of the match after losing more than two days of play.

While the player of the match,  Yashasvi Jaiswal, also credited the management for giving him the freedom  to play freely and backing him.

On the other hand, the captain of the losing side, Najmul Hossain Shanto, was disappointed by the team’s performance. He said that the bats needed to build their earnings rather than getting out within 30 to 40 balls. Shanta also presses on Jadeja and Ashwin for their batting as well as bowling.

Although, after collecting the trophy from BCCI, Vice President, Rohit Sharma gave the trophy to the youngest Akashdeep, who really performed well in the series, which is bowling. Gautam Gambhir was also seen smiling and being happy with the way the team performed throughout the series.
